Power Steering Rag Joint part number

Just as an FYI- I am doing a PS conversion on my 70 burb. I needed the correct rag joint and couldn't find the answer in past posts although there was a post that indicated that Advance Auto Parts had two listed. The correct part number for the PS box is 200 ( yes, just 200). I was able to get one locally ($32.99) instead of having to order one, wait for it to arrive, and hope it was correct. NAPA and Autozone don't list any for my 70.

Re: Power Steering Rag Joint part number

I believe the correct part number for power steering is 201. Here is a link that might help.

Edit...the link might help.

Re: Power Steering Rag Joint part number

Just use one from a 68-79 chevy truck. They're all the same. In 1980, the box went to metric, but I'm not 100% sure if the rag joint changed as well.

Re: Power Steering Rag Joint part number

Alex,
The 200 coupler fit the PS box correctly. I took the box with me to Advance today to test fit it and it's on the box now. That was one of the links I looked at and it was never clear whether the 200 or 201 was correct on that thread. That's why I posted the info.
