Anybody running E3's?
Does anybody use the E3 Diamondfire plugs in these old engines? I've heard that they will mess them up. Just wanted to get some second opinions before I buy some.

hey i have a 72 with a 427 c.i big block that was used to drive about 50 to 100 miles a week on the weekends and some racing. i had the e3 plugs in for about six months and never had a problem with them. i think it actually ran better with the e3 just my opinion.

OK. Great! That's what I wanted to know. I figured that different plugs wouldn't hurt it. After all, a spark is just a spark right?

I just put some in my friends 440 that we built and it runs good. I haven't heard of any complaints.

I had them for about eight months in a very tired and stock 250 and LOVED them. Especially in the cold winters we have. Extremely fast startup even with points. Just don't drop them
