tire size
how big of a tire can i fit on a 1990 gmc suburban 1500 2wd without lifting it? ive been told 31s will fit and ive been told 33s will fit as well but im not sure. it has 235/75/15 on it now

I would think on a 2wd a 31 would be about all you can do, if you go with a 33 then you would have to do some kind of lift to make that work. Hope that helps, Trav

this was when I bought it last year lots of room never rubbed or issue 31" at's

I have 33s on my blazer. All i had to do was Cut the back bottom lip off of the outer fender about 4 inches up using a cut-off. I have had absolutly no problems with this set up. Now if your going to be doing hard core mudding i dont recommend 33s without a lift. the inner fenders need no modifications. Just be sure to put a rust prohibitor on that fresh steel.
