8-Lug bolt pattern

I just purchased a frame to a 1968 C-20. I was wandering if the new chevy and gmc 2500 and 3500 rims would bolt up since they are 8-lug rims???

Re: 8-Lug bolt pattern

How well do the center caps fit on the old trucks?

These were off a 2009 2500HD, the caps off a 1996 2500. To use the newer factory centercaps, you have to buy the special factory style external thread lug nuts for SAE wheel studs, (Newer GM trucks have metric wheel studs)

Re: 8-Lug bolt pattern

Mine fit with the Lugnut king SAE lugnuts for newer rims. Mine were 2003 steel slots off a 2500 HD. The rear center cap doesn't fit the DANA 60 rear. I'll add picture when I can use Photobucket.

Re: 8-Lug bolt pattern

That's why I ended up using the centercaps from a 1996. They are actually deeper than the newer style caps that came with the '09 wheels I'm running, (i've also got the Dana 60 full floating rearend).
The '96 caps fasten the same way with the external thread lugnuts.
