How hard is this task in a 70 chevrolet? Ill be starting from the ground up. So my question is, for the average person (or high school kid

), how hard is this task? Any info greatly appericated.

You may want to list exactly what kind/type of system you are installing, and if you have the brand and/or model, then the guys there could prrobably give you a step by step post.

Thanks. The head u it is a sony xplod. Basically I just need to know where to hook the 12v cnstnt, 12v ign.

I don't know the colors of the wires but you will need to find the acc., ign., and ground. The ground can be put anywhere using a ring terminal and some clean bare metal.

The wires from the deck should be labeled.

the 12v power is yellow, i have a way its grounded, and the accessory wire is red, my question is, does this wire (the accessory) need to be run?

Yes, that's your constant 12v source.

aggieguy... check out my build thread as I did a similar install earlier this year in my '69. IIRC, I posted the wire color and the terminals I used to hook everything up on my Kenwood headunit. Good luck with the install!
