buddy buckets

i recently bought my first pickup project. '72 cheyenne10 lwb, tilt, tach, a/c...
i got it for 400 bucks complete. needs some tlc... anyway, it had a strange looking bucket setup in it that i wasnt fond of. i yanked it first thing and installed an original style bench. i kept hearing the term buddy buckets on this site and didnt know what they were so i searched for a picture and a it turns out... thats what was in my truck.

Re: buddy buckets

There is a WIW (What's it Worth) section here. Post your question there and add some pics to get the best valuation.

Re: buddy buckets

IF you become a member and decide to sell them, I'd be interested.

Re: buddy buckets

Yeah your suppost to be a sub member but I've seen serveral people inquire about things on here like did I pay to much or what would you have given for it. So post a picture and maybe you could just ask us if they are original or something like that. Several people would be interested (including myself) If their in good condition you could get upwards of 500+ You won't have a problem getting rid of them. But if you do decide to sell them then subscribe

Re: buddy buckets

I've been doing a lot of research on Buddy Buckets and I'm not sure if mine are factory GM. They look very similar but the seats seem smaller. I should have a picture up in tomorrow. Does anyone know of any markings or anything that would tell me if they are indeed the notorious buddy buckets?

John, Where did you get those covers? Those things are sweet !!! of course you don't need me to tell you that. I have a set of buddies in my 68 GMC and would like some covers like that in black/white. Jim

Re: buddy buckets

even if they are GM, they aren't original, being they were 67/68 only.
way too many people fishing for PM sales here.
