Been a while since my last post...

But I thought I would show everyone what I've been changing in the interior...I made a center console, complete with drink holders, etc. I got some marine grade vinyl, and had my mother sew up some door upholstery and headliner, which mountes with industrial strength velcro so I can keep it stretched (which it appears I need to do a better job of). I took one of the extra dashes I got with the truck, and painted it up to match...next project, seat cover.

Hope you all like it, I've got about $30 into the interior now, aside from the new radio and speakers.

Kevin,
I've been well, busy but well. I'm always doing something to the truck (Gus) although very little of it has been worthy of posts and pics, ya know? Battery cable terminals, fuel filters, etc. the stuff that you have to do, but no one wants to see or hear about. Still doing body work, etc. to the front end I picked up while you were here. Hopefully a nice day in early spring will see GUS get his new front end, finally!!!
I didn't know that you blew glass, or maybe I forgot? That's great man, drop me some images and let me see what you're making over there!!!

Re: Been a while since my last post...

I hear ya with the little stuff... I have to do all the little stuff and maybe mine will be back on the road someday. I was taking an Iron class while I was at penland- just to work on some metal skills I already had. I want to incorporate metal with what I really like, blowing glass... Now I just gotta get the glass skillz up there too
