Looking for pics of mounted tanks and compressors!
I will be mounting up my tank and compressor within the next few weeks and i would like to know how everyone else is doing theirs. I'm mostly intersted in seeing under the bed setups since mine is a suburban so it will be similar. Yes, i have tried searching, i just went through every page of the bagged c10's, and the suburban pages. So please post em up if you dont mind. (67-72)

Re: Looking for pics of mounted tanks and compressors!
The tank inside is "Hazel" being built by n2billet. I can't find pics to verify, but I am fairly sure he mounted the valves on the frame.

I wanted something a little less superfluous.

Re: Looking for pics of mounted tanks and compressors!
Here's mine so far. This is my first attempt at bagging a truck, so I always assumed finding a place for the components would be a snap! With the exhaust tucked and jammed inside the frame and the gas tank now in the back, this was about the only place I could find. I almost put the compressor and manifold valve behind the rear bumper.
I also had to forget about using the skinny 5 gallon tank, (Too long!) and went with the two, 2 gallon tanks. I hooked the system to a spare battery and everything works awesome! That compressor sure is loud. Maybe it won't be so bad when the truck is outside. |
