Video of blazer topless in snow.

Took the top off and now don't ever want to put it back on! We got a snow (pretty unusual) here in North Alabama about 2 weeks ago so I made a video out riding around. I added the Chevrolet 1972 advertising music to go with it. Thought I would share it........

That's great! All you need is your bag of presents in the back.

I thought that too. Sure looks like dual tank doors. But where would they go in a Blazser? Wouldn't the standard truck tanks be to long?

Re: Video of blazer topless in snow.

Yes it had tanks installed when bought new in 1972. They cut away the Torsion boxes and installed under the doors. I almost did not buy it because of it but it was really an easy fix! I have removed them and replaced the boxes, thinks to info from this site. The truck spent most of its life in New Mexico and is rock solid which probably saved it from flexing much over the years. I hope to patch over where the doors are in a year or two. Bubba

The wonderbar is neat for sure! But when you have one, it doesn't leave the FM side much so you almost forget what it does. At least mine doesn't!

Re: Video of blazer topless in snow.

Bubba, you did such a great job on that video that now GM will have to bring back these Blazers. They already have the commercial. What else is left?A little tooling here,a modern upgrade there...seems simple to me.The ad is what`s hard and that`s done!
