Re: Picture of Chemically Stripped Cab
For comparison, here's a pic of my cab after soda blasting. In this pic the interior had already been dp'd.

Re: Picture of Chemically Stripped Cab
OMG. I don't think there is anything i don't love about that truck. Maybe a little low, but i could live with it.
Perfect color, Nothing really seems overdone. Outstanding work.

Re: Picture of Chemically Stripped Cab
Theres a company over here in the UK that strips car bodies by dipping them, the whole shell is dipped and stripped, it removes any paint and rust, you then do all your repairs and return it and they then strip it again to remove any weld flux etc and then it gets dipped in an electro-phoretic primer that primes it inside and out and inside all the box sections if they're open. The results are fantastic.

Re: Picture of Chemically Stripped Cab
That is one well done and nice truck. One of the few that I wouldn't change a thing on if It made it's way to my garage.
I remember liking it when it was featured in classic truck and the color is right on the money. One of the best put together adds I have ever seen on Ebay too. No nonsense but all the info and who did what. I'd say that it needs to go to another part of the country if the buyer expects to show it though as it looks like it has won everything that there is to win in the Ohio area. Re: Picture of Chemically Stripped Cab
We have the soda blasters in central ohio or you can take it to xienia and have them bake your car in an oven to strip all of the paint - really a neat process that seems to work quite well, they seem to know what they are doing, they do anything from MG's and larger on a regular basis
That cab is super clean. I spoke with Tim @ Goodguys several years ago - that is a very nice ride for the money, I was impressed with the little details.
