Picked up a 68 SWB for $500

I had previously purchased a 68 LWB to cut down and make a SWB when my brother came across this truck on the side of the road. Called the guy and he wanted $500 for it. It's a complete truck minus the motor. Will take both trucks and make one then part out the lwb when i'm done. Will start a build thread very soon Heres some pics.

Great truck for the price! Can't wait to see the build thread. Just think, you've got all year to work on it.

how hard is it to actually shorten the bed itself to a shortbed. i have a pretty decent shape longbed that i will have no use for.

Re: Picked up a 68 SWB for $500

Thanks everyone i couldnt pass it up so now i have 2 68's lol. Took the bed and the front clip off yesterday and stripped the interior. Going to fix the cab then strip the frame down and paint it. Don't know exactly which way i want to go with it but will probably be a 4.5/6 drop with 18/20's or 20/22's. I'm still undecided.
