Dang, well what led him to get rid of that one? I am sure it will end up cool if you have it. At least for the couple months you keep it. If you pass, I am sure you can help him get it sold.

Re: saw this today!

yea, turns out he only wants 1600, i talked him down a little, he is going to talk to his wife, to see if he can trade, if not, i may wind up just buying it, seeing as i have extra in my account cause the guy from the 69 camaro backed out on me last minute! and i already got the loan, so, might as well use it you can see very well but it needs a passenger fender, or at least a patch, the very bottom is cut out on it, other than that it is a clean truck! inerior is nice, has a 350/350, nothing much other than that, just perfect, and idk y, but i love the way it looks with those wheels!!!

Dang you! Why must you torment me?!?! If you pick it up I expect we will see some good pics of it. And, I don't know about you, but I can't stand that hood at all on that truck. Just does not seem "right".

i dont know why, i always loved the hood, just if the whole truck was red, idk if it'd look right brown, IF i do get it, i may put a stock louvered hood on it, and the only reason for the extra was cause of the 69, i talked to the guy, went and saw it, we agreed on a price, and when to pick it up, i got the loan, called him when i got the trailer ready and this is what he said "yea, i have been meaning to call you, i decided to keep it, too many people interested in it, i decided its too rare to sell, i may never get around to building it, but i cnt fget rid of it, sorry" so there went my dream car right out of my grasp, but oh well, i got a long life ahead of me

Re: saw this today!

I read this thread and it really frustrates me! Rusted out square body swb up here goes for around $2000! I could only dream to have a truck like that compared to the rot boxes up here (inluding mine!). Truck like that up here goes for $3500 + easy! You guys don't know how lucky you got it out there in the west/south! I may just have to stay down in Texas when I complete Air Force basic training!

Re: saw this today!

Be careful what you wish for, you could get the LSD tour. Lackland for BMT, Sheppard for Tech school and then Dyess for your first duty station.

Re: saw this today!

Nice score! What size cowl is that? 4"?

Those mirrors look just like the generic Auto Zone pair that came on my truck, you might not be able to adjust them into view. If not, the correct ones are available at classic parts for $40 or so.
