Firewall hole plug???
Some how the plug that fills the hole in the firewall is missing...Had it in the begining of the winter but its not there anymore and was wondering what it was called and where i can get one because it gets kinda chill crusing down the highway. The pic below shows the plug when it was in my engine. Thanks

Two words...Duck Tape! It'll keep the draught out until you find a new one anyway.

THAT HOLE IS FOR THE CLUTCH ROD TO PASS THRU GOING FROM YOUR PEDAL TO THE Z-BAR. ALL CABS HAVE THEM & THOSE EQUIPT WITH AN AUTO TRANNY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PLUGGED. MOST OF THE ONES I'VE SEEN ARE PLUGGED OFF WITH A LITTLE METAL PLATE, WITH 2 SMALL SCREWS. SOME HAVE A PLASTIC PLUG. I'M SURE I HAVE SOME SOMEWHERE AROUND HERE . $5.00 + SHIPPING FOR A METAL ONE (I'VE NEVER SAVED A PLASTIC ONE-- THEY'RE KINDA CHEASY LOOKIN) JOHN

the one on my parts truck was welded in... and missing on mine because it was formally a three speed... I got one of those rubber freeze plug things, you know the one with the bolt that expands the rubber.... works great. I had the opposite problem.. all the heat off my headers was roasting my foot.

The clutch rod fire wall plug isn't reproduced in the plastic or the metal style plug.
