Could you post up a pic of your Jimmy so we can see what other kind of modifications we are looking at? Some mods don't go with others if you know what I mean.

There's always filling them in and then running LEDs on the gate or at the bottom of the gate. IMO, I like the rear lights this era came with. Or, you could flush mount them possibly.

I started to fill um and do the LED strip on the tailgate. Don't know if I like it though.
You can see the slot in the lower right corner of the pic on the tailgate. Last edited by addicted2dunes; 01-31-2010 at 02:21 AM. |

Re: Taillight pics and ideas! Let's see um!
I have my 1968 GMC swb all stripped down getting prepped for paint. Im juggling the idea doing some major body work to give the truck a more modern look. One of the ides Im considering is useing something like these for the taillights: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Red-O...item3c9e92bf71
Or these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6-HI-...item51901185d3 I would like to bring some LEDs up front into the turn signals as well. Im really confused on what to do about this. To either keep the truck orginal or to go for that more modern look is a tough choice..... Thoughts? |

I've seen the pics of the Burb with them also. Don't think it looks right on a truck or Blazer though. Looks alright on the Burb's because your rear section and tailgate are different, fit's the Burb's nicely.
