The "Beach Bum" 72 2wd
Here are a few pics of the 72 2wd I picked up this week. Its got a SBC 400 with World Products S/R heads, edelbrock intake and carb, and a TH350. Its an early 90s build thats been sitting for a long time. It still runs great, but needs a little tinkering to get everything back in order. The plan is to make this my new driver.
It supposedly was built in Broken Arrow, OK in the early 90s by Hot Rods by Johnny Young, if anyone has seen it before or knows anything else about it feel free to let me know, as i have very little info on the truck. |

Looks like a hell of a good starting point. Way ahead of the game there.

Re: The "Beach Bum" 72 2wd
rust is minimal, a few bubbles in the rockers and the passenger kickpanel, a couple of small bubbles over the windshield. Should be very easy to take care of.

Re: The "Beach Bum" 72 2wd
I'm in love with it. I've had the itch lately to try and find someone that would trade a Blazer for my 67. It just looks like it would be so much fun to grab some buddies and cruise to the beach with the top off. Needless to say this is a Blazer after my own heart. Lol.

Re: The "Beach Bum" 72 2wd
heres a little update...
Ive gone through all the usual tune-up stuff. new plugs, wires, oil change, cap,rotor,etc...new brake pads, shoes. I installed a new gas tank this weekend, so now the gauge works. I should have her in shape for daily duty in the next week or so |
