Stepside Bed Roll Pan

I bought a rear roll pan yesterday and it didn't fit against the bed like it suppose to because of the box cut out. i was wondering how someone has gotten away with notching the box or the bed ot just whatever ya have done to make it work.


Pictures would help, but if not ill understand

I think I read on Mar-K's site that you have to notch the rear cross sill to clear the box.
