Anyone ever hear of a gov loc rearend?
I think that is the name of my friend's rearend in his truck, It's very weird looking with small springs and rods with little teeth that flip out to lock in the rearend for posi. Anyone have any pics of locking rearends?

I had one in a 12 bolt in my 4x4. Abused the hell out of it (it was one of the good ones) The ones they made before it were trash. I believe it had a samller gear in or something. Not sure, but I am sure someone will reply that does know. I do know the one I had was tuff.

AFAIAC, Gov-Lok is Grenade. I haven't seen one that wasn't damaged if you did any serious wheeling. If you have one, fine, run it. But if you are going to spend any $, get an Eaton. Or if it is a 14 bolt, go Detroit.
