Future wheel delema (need your input)
This is one of my Future Dilemmas.
I LOVE the Style of BOTH the Weld "Pro Star" and the Centerline "Telstar". My problem is, (and here's where you guys come in), is whether to stay with a 15" Wheel and Double the width of the rear Wheel Well, OR to go with the Centerline "Telstar" which comes in a 18" & 20" Size. In THAT scenario, I'd put 20's in the back and 18" in Front. So I'm asking your opinions. OPTION #1: Centerline "Telstars" or Weld "Pro Stars" with... (15X10" Rear & 15X6" in Front). Option #2: Centerline "Telstars" with... (20X10" Rear & 18X6" Front) and your reasoning as to why? Also if your Truck has Option #1 or Option #2 Wheel Sizes,(Doesnt have to be THAT BRAND), Pictures would be appreciated.

Re: Future wheel delema (need your input)
Do the centerlines come in 20x14 that would look good with a 20x8.5 in the front

I was just throwing out that Front Wheel Measurment. I LOVE the Pro-Street look, but I don't want to go super skinny in Fron, with the Tire being inside the Front Fenderwell by 5"-7". To me that looks like the Front End is overloading the thire.

Re: Future wheel delema (need your input)
What you have on there now looks pretty bad a$$ to me, Id keep them.
If you do change them out, go with option 2 with the center stars black and the outer ring in chrome. |

Re: Future wheel delema (need your input)
Option #2 gets my vote. I think the wheel is cleaner looking. In my mind the 18/20 combo fits these trucks perfectly with a mild drop.

Re: Future wheel delema (need your input)
I choose NEITHER...send your $ and get a set of rallies to match with some width!!
I like the look you have I'm having a set of 6 lug rallies widened to 14" for a set of sneakers

Re: Future wheel delema (need your input)
I personally don't like anything bigger than 18's myself. I would say 17 or 18" all around if available. If not, go with the 15" Telstars.

Re: Future wheel delema (need your input)
Right after the Tel Star come out back in the '90's I bought a set for my truck and still have them. At the time all you could by was 15" wheels. I think the 18 and 20 inch would look great. Here are a few pictures of mine, wrong year truck but right wheel.

That is a clean looking truck. I've always been a fan of the telstars, but i think i voted for 15s all the way around.
