POL tubular lower a arms

I am installing tubular a arms from POL along with 2.5" drop spindles on my 65 this weekend. I noticed that the piece on the spindle that limits the steering is hitting the lower a arm. This piece is supposed to hit the limiter on the top of the a arm, but actually hits the arm. It is still on jack stands and my question is will this correct itself when the wheels and tires are put on and it is actually on the ground. I can't test it right now because I changed from 6 lug to 5 lug and don't have the wheels yet. Any help would be appreciated.

You can test it w/o wheels by putting a jack under the a-arm which will 'load' the suspension (just raise the jack until the moment the truck starts to raise up).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: POL tubular lower a arms

Thanks. I think the main thing that I did wrong was the I didn't line up the hole on the cross shaft with the rivet on the mount. I think the other part of it may be that it needs a little shimming. First time on these arms for me.
