Not much yet, but here's my '46
As of right now it's still sitting in my neighbors field. If my backyard ever dries up I'll get it over here and at least cover it until I can start on it.

And here are a couple other projects my neighbor has just sitting around. There is more than this too! His dad also has several old vehicles.

Cool project. When this is what they look like before you start, it really makes it all worth while when your done.

You've got your work cut out for you but I suspect once you pull it out of there, get all the trash out, it's all there & a great starting point. Best of luck. Keep the pix coming.

Nice. That truck's a lot more solid than my 39. Whatever you do.... don't paint it. Perfect patina.

That is a great looking start! What are your plans for it?

Re: Not much yet, but here's my '46
Plans include a lwb S10 frame swap. And either a twin turbo multi-port smallblock, or an Infinity Q45 transplant (with turbo of course). Also a half cage with the tubes going straight out the back glass to the rear, and some huge meats. For the pro-street look. Of course I've got plenty of projects right now that need finished first. Including a Daytona 500 pace car for when my son turns 16. It's rough and will take a WHILE.

Re: Not much yet, but here's my '46
I've got some somewhere. Mine needs a lot of work. We will be doing a complete rotissere on it, along with some minor mods.
It will look like the one in this pic when finished. Except mine is one of only 153 that was originally ordered as a hardtop car, not t-top. |
