The radio stuff is a vital detail.Prices are "get what they`ll pay".Look at non-operable AM/FMs for over $300.I had a loaded`78 big block shortbed with the in-dash AM/FM/CB.Wish I still had that thing.

i think its only worth so much because its the correct original cb for people who are making "trigger" clones, you know Bandits trans am. because and they're rare

I really wouldn't consider the smokey cars rare. There were a lot of years of them built being as there were 3 movies. I will agree though, that these cbs are worth that because of the authenticity that they make for a Bandit clone or Trans Am. Trevor

I use to have an original 6 channel GM cb that was a dealer installed option for up to 69..what year was the 23 channel available?

I guessing the 23 channels were later 60's through mid to late 70's. From mid to late 70's is when the 40 chennel CB's came into being.

Going up in value! I got the same one (nos) in Sept. of '08 on ebay for $178.!!
