Bought an 01 'hoe

Hey guys,
I usually hang out with the 67-72 guys but figured I'd show you guys my new ride. I bought it last week, it a 01 4wd, has every option available for the year and is a one owner truck. So far the only thing I've done to it is had an 18" case magnaflow put on with a 3 1/2" tip put on in the stock exit. My future plans are upgrading the sound system, putting in dvd and some monitors, then dropping it (maybe 3/4?) and putting on some 22's. I only have one picture of it that I took this morning after parking on the 6th floor of the parking garage at UC Davis (not the greatest with a cell phone and the rain, but I'll get some more when the weather clears).

Thanks for the compliment! The exhaust is done, I can get a sound clip for you tomarrow. It has a good tone to it, deep and smooth. when you are cruising down the highway you almost can't hear it, then you stomp it and it growls pretty good.
By the way I love my 68 gmc but I used it as a driver for one week after I sold my explorer and before I bought the tahoe, and I couldn't imagine doing all the time. It's much more enjoyable as a toy and a hauler.

Re: Bought an 01 'hoe

Finally got around to taking some better pictures and a sound clip of my tahoe today. Too bad it's storming out, maybe I can get some more when the weather clears up. It's not the cleanest, I live on a dirt road so it was muddy but I sprayed it off. The sound clip isn't the greatest, as I had the cam to close to the tip and it was blowing in the mic. I was gonna take another one but then it started pouring on me and my video camera. Hope you guys enjoy!

Re: Bought an 01 'hoe

Some 22's will look sweet. I tried talking the gf into buying a Tahoe but I lost that battle.
I never knew the 3rd row would fold out of the way. That's awesome.

Thanks for the compliment! If there are any other clips (incab, better outside, driveby) you want let me know.
