70 Bagged longbed chassis project for sale
I've decided to sell my just finished longbed rolling chassis either by itself or as a roller w/cab/bed/front clip. See my build thread in my signature for information on the frame and the bed, but quick details are:
Completely stripped, primed, and painted frame with hammered paint. Very nice finish. ALL NEW suspension parts and brakes (4 wheel discs) Front CPP kit with 2 1/2" drop spindles, cross drilled and gas slotted 12" 5 lug rotors, new calipers and pads painted with black caliper paint, all new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, billet tie rod adjuster, bag brackets, 4 RE-7 Airbags, Trailing arms shimmed perfectly with billet shims to center rear tire in rear, ECE super trac bar, ECE shock relocators, new Monroe shocks, 2" drop blocks with new painted U-bolts, Front sway bar (not installed yet). All grade 5 or 8 bolts brand new with loctite and lock washers, 373 open rear with all new seals/bearings, rear cross drilled 12" brakes with Glock's brackets and new calipers (painted to match front) and pads, new control arm cross shafts, new idler arm, newer power steering gearbox, new control arm and driveshaft U-joints and new carrier bearing on the 2 pc driveshaft (carrier bearing mount also was flipped for proper angle with the bagged truck). Braided stainless brake lines (to calipers) with nice factory lines for frame. New trailing arm bushings, CPP C-notch welded in with screw in bumpstops, custom trailing arm crossmember with oval holes (to match center) for exhaust to route through so it can be tucked in the frame and not hang down. Also includes a set of 5 lug steel wheels with rollers that hold air but are almost bald (good to keep on while doing bodywork and paint). Also includes a tranny crossmember and I'll throw in a set of small block motor mounts to the buyer... As of now all that needs to be done is running brake lines and air lines for the bags. Has a 5 gallon 9 port chrome tank custom mounted at the rear. Also will include a poly blazer tank or a summit poly fuel cell with this (your choice). This chassis includes a nice LWB bed (few minor rust spots in bed and two pits on the wheel well) but otherwise very nice bedsides, decent floor (3 small rust areas), and decent tubs (dents but not rusty), and including a small patch for the floor Has a nice 71 cab (not the one in my build thread that's shaved) with glass that's had all the patch panels done so it's 99%rust free. Has a bench seat in the cab. and a nice gas tank. Will include 2 complete doors with glass that are decent but need work on the inside bottoms. $3250 OBO as a complete roller bagged truck just needing to be wired up and have an engine/tranny installed. Could be run with Schrader valves. For full asking price I will include a stock wire harness with the rolling chassis. have all other small parts needed to finish it up as well and will include all the necessities (seatbelts/steering column/dash bezel with gauges, etc... NOT INCLUDED but I also have Viair dual 380's with a 7 switch box and a second setup of Viar dual 480's in chrome with the Accuair complete setup that I will consider selling for additional or will save for my blazer project. Have a lot of other nice parts that could also be included as part of the deal but for additional money As mentioned, more pictures and details in my build thread. To be clear, the cab included is NOT the cab in my build thread. I will add pictures of that cab and doors when I have a chance. Selling this as I switched my cab onto a shortbed chassis and I really don't have the room for this right now. And I've decided my next build will be a blazer and my shop truck will lay frame not just c-notched ....

Re: 70 Bagged longbed chassis project for sale
Save yourself a LOT of money and time if you're considering a longbed project. Make me an offer but realize if I don't get close to asking price I'll just hold onto it. Too much time and money invested to give it away.

Re: 70 Bagged longbed chassis project for sale
I'm still going to bag a LWB...just plan on making it even lower. Probably do dropmembers, step notch, a hidden hitch, a raised heavy duty metal floor, and probably a shop logo. Don't see the reason to modify this frame when it's already done for someone that wants a mildly bagged frame.

Re: 70 Bagged longbed chassis project for sale
2500 FIRM final offer for the bagged frame or 3700 for a full roller with everything needed to have a running truck minus engine/tranny.
Want to move this because it looks like I'm moving houses looking for more land and a bigger garage (and a smaller house)

Re: 70 Bagged longbed chassis project for sale
sorry, holding onto it for now in case the potential buyer wants it. It's a 7 switch EAI one. Nice box...you can find them on ebay for good deals sometimes too.
