Re: tilt hood

there has been some threads about this before... someone made a fiberglass tilt nose for the trucks
the ones who did just a reverse tilt hood used the hinges and apparatus from the old buick park avenues (88 89 or thereabouts) to make it work on the trucks

Re: tilt hood

That is my next project for me so I will keep an eye on this thread. I did see another one on here but I could not find it but I hear the hinges from the older buicks work and that is my plan. I have some pms from the guy from the other post and If I can find the link to the thread I will post it but I don't remember seeing any full pics of the hood.

Re: tilt hood

Here is one that I found, it's not the same model truck but it has the buick parts on it. I think there are some more on here somewhere. It's snowing here so I have time to look em up for ya.

If you sent him the same info you sent me in the pm he should be good. At least he can see the parts needed and the process.

Re: tilt hood

These are instructions for a universal tilt hood kit... they were built using an 88-98 Chevy but it gives you an idea how it could be done.

PDF Instructions Here!

Here is a 53-56 Ford Tilt Hood Instructions
