sway bar mount
do all trucks have the holes for the sway bar already in them? also thinking about making my own frame brackets out of some heavy gauge square tubing? anyone have thoughts on doing that?

Re: sway bar mount
The holes are there, but if your truck didn't come with a sway bar, there will be rivets in two of the holes, where the frontmost crossmember is mounted. You have to remove those 2 rivets. TXFirefighter has a great how-to thread with pictures that I used to do mine. I'll see if I can find and link it for you

Re: sway bar mount
i have another question...im getting ready to order the lowered mount sway bar brackets from early classics but my truck isnt lowered and wont be lowered. Am i going to run into any problems using the lowered mounts?

Re: sway bar mount
No. The lowered mounts will work just fine. However, if you drop the truck a lot and use bags, the bar end may touch the bags. As the truck lowers, the swaybar is pushed toward the bags. The simple fix is to cut off the offending length.
