These seats work pretty well in our trucks. I have a set in cloth in my 71/68. All I did was to cut 4 pieces of 3 inch square tube to 18". I then welded caps on the end openings. I bolted the tube down to the original seat locations. I then drilled and bolted the two inner tubes to the floor and mounted the seats to the tubes. They work well and look well in my truck (sorry, no pics yet). I also built a lower bracket for the Intrepid seat belts as the are integrated in the seats. The upper mount fits in our stock location if you want. I actually mounted the entire height adjuster out of the Intrepid in mine.
