Question Water pump help...

Hey guys.. I am converting my 69 blazer over to a serpintine belt system. I have done this before for my '66 k20, but that truck had one of the heater hoses going to the radiator, not to the water pump. That conersion was easy !

I am needing to find a part number for a reverse flow (counter clock-wise) long water pump that has a heater hose port on it. Everything I am seeing is without ANY heater hose port on it. Any help would be appreciated as my radiator doesn't have any type of heater hose tap on it, I need to keep my heater hose connection at the water pump.

I know one it out there, and it can be a factory type pump.. I don't have to have an aluminum fancy thing...

THanx!

Re: Water pump help...

This should work, FlowKooler #1974, is a reverse rotation, not reverse flow, long water pump with heater hose ports.

I think that these pumps might have heater hose provisions and might be less expensive.

A 1999 Tahoe with a 5.7 will have one too. Actually it has 2. One that goes to the intake and one to the heater core. Good luck.

this is partially true. it does have 2 but they are both pressed in tubes and may interfere with other brackets. the one I mentioned is physically identical to what our trucks came with (aside from being longer)

Re: Water pump help...

You can have a return installed in your radiator. Any radiator shop can do this.
