Re: Rims on Ebay!

That`s funny. It`s not like I don`t know what they look like and they are new...still funny.Maybe he thinks the rivets are a fashion statement These would be cool on the back of a pre-71 2wd.It would be a challenge to find two more for a 4wd.I had a pair of these in 5-lug on my`72 back in the early`70s and 8 x 15s on front.

Re: Rims on Ebay!

He must have updated the pictures, as the very last picture is a picture of the front of the wheels. These are really old being they have the spring steel tangs that hold on the hub cap. I thought 1964 or so was the last year of the tang hub cap retainers.

Re: Rims on Ebay!

I bought 6 of those wheels new from a chevy dealer in Kalamazoo Michigan in 1969 and sold all six (two of them never used) to a board member, Bigdon-70blazer, in 2007. I think he is still looking for hubcaps for them. I think the GM part number on the boxes was 3851350 but not sure.

Re: Rims on Ebay!

I wonder if these are what I have on my truck. My tires are 235/70R/16's. 6 bolt pattern.

I hope not, those are 16.5" wheels....a 16" tire does not belong there. The shape of the bead area is different. 16.5s just taper out to the lip of the rim, there is no "safety bead".
