Picked up a new toy yesterday

Picked up a new toy yesterday. I'm looking forward to the knowledge and wisdom from all here in helping me sort out any issues.- 1970 GMC 350/350 dual exhaust- cruise, tach, air, and much more. Tach not working now and am looking to get it fixed first. It also has a thermometer on the drivers door- anyone know if this is/was a factory option? If so, any leads on a nos or used unit?

Thanks!!
I am going to keep a factory stock look. First order is to fix/repair any small issues I have with it.

Re: Picked up a new toy yesterday

Thanks-72BlckButy,VA72C10, HUSKER, and 69longhorn.
I looked at many many trucks and was just about ready to pull the trigger on a 66 fleetside shortbed 283 3 on the tree and the GMC just popped up. Saw it online on sunday evening, went and looked at it mon am and had it in my driveway mon afternoon. While I was there driving it a couple of people called and one showed up to see it.

That is one clean truck. Good find... sounds like you arrived just in time - otherwise it would have gone to someone else. Congratulations!
