What to do about dents in bed before line-x? Swaybar Q too..
I wanna get my 87's bed professionally sprayed but the bed floor and fenderwells are banged up pretty bad. It looks like they put several engines in the bed then hit the slalom course! How hard (even worth the time??) is it to swap out the bed floor? Or does anyone have any other suggestions or comments? The worst part is the floor towards the rear, and I could probably live with taking a hammer and dolly to the fenderwells. Thanks in advance, Kaysen
Also, I got a 1.25 one ton sway bar and need to know if I should keep the pedestals that mount to the frame or to ditch them. Its lowered with spindles and cut 2 coils (iirc) off factory springs. Thanks again

1) I would just hammer & dolly all the dents as best as possible. Just get them close. A professional bedliner will hide ALOT!
2) Have you test fit your sway-bar to see how it lines up? I would start there. See how it sits and then adjust things accordingly.

Line-X is the best. What you can not get out with hammer and dolly you can use bondo and primer and Line-X will cover good.
