lowered GMC inner fender
hi guys, I was trying to fit aftermarket front inner fenders into my '71 GMC pickup, and discovered that they have the wrong arc. I was not too worried about that, but they don't have any protection on the sides like the stock ones, they're pretty much just a curved rectangle of metal, not exactly what i would trust to keep my valuables in good condition I was wondering what you guys run, I bought the truck as a half-restored piece of labor, but obviously the previous owner couldn't make the stock ones work, otherwise I'd expect to see them still there. The only other thing i could think of is that the stockers rusted out and he just threw them away. the truck has around 6" of drop i THINK, I'm not too sure, but the stock fenders by themselves still have a few inches of clearance under turning. so for all you with a beautiful lowered piece of hardware, your advice would be much appreciated!!

Re: lowered GMC inner fender
Stock or just run no fenders.
