Re: green trucks
This is an old '76 i had a few years back. I am pretty sure it was original paint. Bought it for $500 and fixed it up a lil. It was pretty much just a fun beater truck tho.

Re: green trucks
Not a common green, a Jaguar color actually, but looks good on this truck in my opinion. Saw it on the web while browsing for chevy trucks.
Now that the color green is brought up...I don't see that many of them actually. Mark

Re: green trucks
I've already bought the Jag green paint for mine, Here's a blurred rendition. I've owned vehicles every color but pink-purple and green so going green this time around.....

Here's a pic of mine. Stock color for 77, although I a trying to find the code for the light green. Should know more this weekend when I scan in the original build/paint card that I found in the glove box...

Re: green trucks
It's only as good as my scanner, but here's a scan of the paint chip for that color from the 1977 GMC Color and Trim Book.

Re: green trucks
I think the new Synergy Edition Camaro green is totally sweet!!! When I decide to really make the truck into something supe nice or find a different project that is the color I am going to go with.

Re: green trucks
I got the truck in June, it was 2 wd and changed to 4wd before I got. Almost all the repairs I have done were from threads on this forum. It flat black exterior but still the green and wood grain interior.
