1987 Gas Tanks

Is 87 the only year the fuel tanks are differnent due to the baffels?? I have to pull the Pass side to install a new sender and while Im at it I was gonna put a whole new sender/pump assembly in...Theres a few tanks around going cheap and I thought i might scoop one just to have but I think they are 73-86 tanks??? Not 87s...

There are three different saddle style 20 G tanks (56" X 14" X 11") used in square body trucks:
73-81 - small filler pipe - 1-1/4" I.D. -- Spectra Industries part GM1A
81-86 - large filler pipe - 1-5/8" I.D. -- Spectra Industries part GM1B
87 -91 with baffles for FI -- Spectra Industries part GM1C

There were about 20 to 30 different fuel pick/sender units used between 73 and 86 model years. 87 - 91 should be readily available.
