69 vs 72 front suspension
I dont know alot about redoing front suspension on these trucks, so Ill probably have someone do the work for me. I want to have the correct parts first.
I have a bunch of new parts for rebuilding a 69 half ton front suspension. Can any of the 69 parts be used on a 72, or do I need to sell the 69 stuff and get 72?

Re: 69 vs 72 front suspension
the 69 is drum and the 72 is disc so the tie rodes and ball joints are diff ..just return it all and start from scratch it will be easier and wont confuse the parts guys

Re: 69 vs 72 front suspension
Oh, I forgot, this is stuff I got when I purchased the 5 lug disk upgrade for my 69 panel. Im not using any of that stuff anymore (unless it works on the 72). I guess I need to go drag the parts out and see how they are labled. Im pretty sure it says 69 on the bags.

Re: 69 vs 72 front suspension
The a-arm cross shafts and bushings will still work.
