oooo, Barrett Jackson. I can't wait to see overpriced clones being sold to well manicured stockbrokers.
sounding a bit cynical, aren't I?

We should start a guessing thread on the prices. winner wins.....nothing... but the pride of knowing they guessed the price correctly...

Re: 67-72 Chevy/GMC at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach this weekend
The two light yellow/white trucks (one LWB, one SWB) were pretty sweet in my book, as was the copper/white LWB. I think the copper/white LWB guy and the yellow/white SWB guy should have gotten together and traded instrument clusters before the show... They'd both have gotten more money. (i.e. the Cheyenne had the woodgrain instrument cluster and the Cheyenne Super had the black instrument cluster....)
Despite the little instrument cluster thingy, I thought the light yellow/white SWB was beautiful! The LWB light yellow/white had been on ebay for quite some time. Wonder if he got as much as his ebay reserve was? Hope so! Nice truck. Fun to watch folks with tons of money play. |
