Carpeting question ... sorta
I'm in the process of gathering the stuff needed to redo my interior, hoping to get it all together for a quick and massive thrash .. just so it isn't off the road for any time. The gas tank has been relocated to the rear. I have seen the carpet pieces that cover the in-cab tank, but I want to carpet the cab wall area behind the seat ... I haven't been able to find a carpet product for that specific application. I want to do this myself without leaving it at a shop, so buying matching yardage might seem to be an answer, but I don't have a way to finish the edges. Anyone have a suggestion or a source for a ready-made product?
Thanks much!

Re: Carpeting question ... sorta
check with a local carpet company or upholstery shop some for a small fee will bind the cut edges of a carpet if you cut it to fit and bring it in to them, or they'd know who to send you to that does that type work

Re: Carpeting question ... sorta
if you look at my build what I did was cut a cheap sheet of paneling (get a damaged sheet) I then cut it to fit the back of the cab ....get yourself some carpet ( I used black and my floor is brown because I could find anyting that matched and I like it) use 3m ahesive spray it and then roll the carpet over the edge ab0out 1" or so then I put a couple screws though it into the ribs NOT THOUGH THE SHEET METAL CAB

Re: Carpeting question ... sorta
Check with a carpet store for a product called insta-bind. Then you can bind it yourself. It is easy. I have been a carpet installer for almost 38 years.
