1966 Oil Bath Air Cleaner
Anyone know for sure or have a picture of what a 1966 C10 oil bath air cleaner looks like? Is it the same one as other (which?) years. I have a line on a 1965 oil bath air cleaner and dont know what the 1966 cleaners look like... Thanks in advane!

The second one is from a '67 CJ5... I betcha Tony- LILRED66 would know. |

Oh also its for a 292 motor (6 cylinder) not a V8 application....or are they all the same??/ Anyone remember???

The oil bath air cleaners all have the same design 63-66. The thing that differs is the base part.The photos shown are correct, but you need one off a 1 barrel carb.Just curious, did your build sheet list the oil bath option?

it looks like the photos different in design-the one on the CJ5 looks fatter and shorter, but the other 2 look identical...my assumption is that the 1st picture and the 3rd picture are the correct ones to get...

Yes, pictures 1 and 3. This is option K48, 2 pint oil bath air cleaner for the 10-30 series. It was standard equipment on larger c 50 and c 60 series. The 292 shown in photo, is from GMC literature, GMC painted their engines red.

If you like your engine you probably should get a newer style that uses a paper or maybe K&N filter. The oil bath filters just keep the gravel out.
