How to route A/C ducts under the dash

I am trying to install OEM-style A/C ducts in my 71. Can anyone tell me how to route the duct from the driver-side vent ? From the picture in my service manual it looks as though it should go over the radio to hook up to the distribution box, but there doesn't seem to be enough space there; on the other hand there doesn't seem to be enough space anywhere else, either!
Help!

Richard

The best intructions I found and worked well was the pictures from LMC catalog. You can find the picture on page 126 in the CB.59 2010 Spring Edition catalog

hope this helps you ...gp

It does not go over the radio, but just behind/below the radio.
