Motor mount pics for Livrat

Hey Mark thanks for stopping out today. I turned the place upside down and found those motor mounts we were talking about.

I bought em here off the board quite awhile back. I do remember asking (don't remember who now) if these were correct for the swap and was told yes. Let me know what you think.

Your workbench is too clean. You need some tools and some random clutter. I could help you out with the clutter, my garage has more than enough.

Mark, Took a look through all my pics and even Al's post on the Caddy install, Could not find out if those are the exact ones needed or not.. I guess we will find out when we test fit the 500... I can bring 2 other styles just in case..

Well the work bench is freshly built and not quite finished. I did take some junk off it so Mark could get a good look at the mounts. Btw, after checking out my hitch more I think Im going to go with the extra mount system that makes me move my spare. Mark pointed out that it actually took off a small corner of the frame. And he noticed it had been cracked for awhile before it went all the way. So you're off the hook on the welding ... for now

Well that will suck if these dont work. Ive thrown away way too much money putting parts together for the panel.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasnt sure on the year of these and I should have called them frame mounts not motor mounts.

Mounts, stands, all the same to me. I just wanted to point out that they were 73-87. A lot of folks get them confused with 72 only big block mounts.

Re: Motor mount pics for Livrat

Kevin.. thanks for the clarification.. I totally forget to mention/post that..

I have found 4 different versions of the 73-87 Tower/mounts..

I do know that the ones pictured are not the ones to use in a Big block chev install in a 67-72 truck.. (they will make the engine sit up too high in the front) I do not know remember if those were the exact style we used in a Burb/Caddy install I did a couple years ago.
