1953 Chevy 1/2 ton progress!!
I posted this truck back in Aug. 2009 when I bought it and thought I would show what a little hard work has done to slowly bring her back to life!
Chassis is basically done, rebuilt 235 engine and 4 speed trans, changed out the 411 gears to 3:55. Also did a rebuild on the front and rear suspention as well as the brakes system. If you look at the frame I drilled out all the rivits before I sandblasted (a few of them were loose so I figured better do it now) then I bolted it back together with 7/16 Grade 8 bolts Can't wait to get this back on the road!
