Bought my first truck
I've owned four cars, but this is my first truck.
Here is the craigslist add. http://lexington.craigslist.org/cto/1687907336.html Needs tires, and the steering is sloppy. It's loud, loose, and BLUE, but tons of fun. |

Re: Bought my first truck
Looks good. More pics please. The guys dog that I bought my truck from chewed up the headlight wiring and one of the break lines. He also pulled the plug off the rear for the tails and chewed the e-brake cable in half. I just matched everything back up by color. It looked like a nightmare at first but really wasn't that bad. Nice truck and Good Luck.

Funky bumper, torn up headlight housings custom door dent Rear end lopsided, another funky bumper Spare tire goodness GMC steering wheel, barely functioning gas and fuel gauges, and my 350 radio The better of the two doors The worse of the two doors Tcase shifter, cup holder, and rearview Free brush pile, blown tire Last edited by geod919; 04-14-2010 at 07:14 PM. |

Re: Bought my first truck
Apparently the truck came with center line wheels?
The guys at the tire store were impressed. Anyway, new tires! Wild country radial mtx's in 33x12.50x15 Good on dry and wet pavement so far, awaiting offroad review. Can't hear them over the exhaust and wind on the expressway, so I'd say noise level is decent =] Now to lean my carb out some (getting occasional bogging down, puffs of white smoke from the exhaust, and the airfilter reeked of gas.) And to clean up several po's wiring hax. |

Re: Bought my first truck
Looks like it will be a fun toy.
Enjoy it and remember you don't have to do everything all at once.
