Headers driving me crazy!!

I have a 69 c10 shortbed with a 350 and muncie m22 4 speed. I bought hedman headers and they keep hitting my bottom a-arms at they rear. Its hitting is pretty bad and not even close to fitting. The truck was dropped 3" in front and 4" in rear. Can anyone help me and know what is going on??? Thanks!!

A-arms at the rear? Try posting a photo to show exactly where they are hitting.

Re: Headers driving me crazy!!

How are your engine mounts? My truck had the headers clipping the a arm and when I yanked the engine you could tell that the mounts had collapsed somewhat. Now with new mounts in there is JUST enough clearance to avoid contact (also have hedman headers)

Re: Headers driving me crazy!!

yeah, CPP has some tubular engine mounts that can, in some cases, help clear some headers... might help.
