Door Latch
This is the door latch, right?
Well I'm DAMN sick of having to shut my door 7 times to finally close it. The pin is shot, and the door sags and the latch is loose when in the closed position. I can't find one of these ANYWHERE! Anyone want to help out a computer illiterate?

Re: Door Latch
replace hinge pins and bushings. buy one size bigger bushings, tap in with hammer and latch will not rattle any more. or you can roll down window lift door up when you shut it and after one or two hundred times of doing this the rattle wont be so important. old money.

Re: Door Latch
Pins and bushings as mentioned. You'll know if the hinges are shot. If the latch latches it's working imo.

Re: Door Latch
the louvers in the bottoms of your doors are suposed to let air out when the doors shut, but seal off after they are shut. they could be stuck shut, painted over.. etc..
