I also used a small flat screw driver to pry the one side down once I had one side in.

frankdatank01 is right. I replaced mine a few months ago and had to take them off and re-install just the other night as I wanted to trim them down a bit. Lubing them up both times worked for me. WD40 works good, does not leave a mess and will eventually wear away. Spray some on the bump-stop tab and try to press it in the slot on the a-arm. If you can get just part of the tab inserted (a small flat-head screw driver helps with that) then turn the bump stop clockwise and then counterclockwise (sorta of twisting it in but use a bit of finesse here so as not to rip the tab off) will allow for the rest of that tab to fall into place. Hope this helps. It also helps if you can get your Truck off the ground a bit or if you have access to a lift. Hope this helps.
