Tailgate Protector for the Circuit Rider?
Looks like I am within 1-2 weeks from picking up the Circuit Rider...from your experiences who makes a good Tailgate Protector? I want one that I can install only when I need to use it so it won't be installed unless required.

I'd get a plastic one that covers the inside of the gate and wraps over the upper lip. Maybe use magnets to hold it to the gate for removal? The heavy duty tape magnet should prevent scratching...
You could also have a piece of aluminum bent, and line it with felt...

Maybe buy an entire hard bed liner and cut it up so you can protect the floor and the tailgate only.
Cut off the sidewalls, cut the wheel wells covers out and cut the floor in 1/2. Glue strips of felt onto the bottom to keep it from scratching the bed floor You could use the floor, tailgate and wheel well covers as 5 separate parts for easy of installation and removal. By cutting up a hard liner you may not even need one that is built for your C10 since all we care about is filling the floor, wheel well and tailgate

get some 1.5-2.5" foam pipe insulation from the hardware store, stuff it behind the seat when you aren't using it and it slips right over the tailgate lip when you need to rest something on it.
I have used it for my longboard surfboards for years, and it only costs you like $3-5.
