Steering Stabilizer

Has anyone ever heard of using steering stabilizers in place of shocks for front suspension on air bagged trucks?

Re: Steering Stabilizer

No, I can't say that I have. More importantly is why? A steering stabilizer is nothing more than a shock with different valving. What would the advantage be?

Re: Steering Stabilizer

Well my set up is manual valves so I get the side to side sway because the fronts share a valve. You are right. Stabilizers are just like a shock but I was told to use them in place because they have resistance both ways and will help with the side to side sway or lean. I did order a sway bar so I know this will help. I was just wondering if anyone had experimented with stabilizers or maybe someone had a little more info for me. Before I went and made a decision.
