Re: Pics of Factory roll bars.

Does any one make an aftermarket roll Bar, Need one myself. Have no Hard top and hate driving topless telling myself if your gonna wreck hit it dead on head first! Of course being old heavy metal I know I will win in 95% of the crashes! Still would rather have the safety factor!

I've been told my K5's rollbar is not a factory piece

Re: Pics of Factory roll bars.

I've seen your style quite often. From what I gather the style you see on Gary's and my blazer is generally considered to be the factory (or dealer installed for those picky ones out there) roll bar.

When I found the part number on mine, someone told me that stood for Hickey Enterprises (who made the bar) along with their part number as you can see in one of my pics.

Re: Pics of Factory roll bars.

I don't know what would be a fair price for something like that, but if you ask me $150 doesn't sound like all that much for a bolt in roll bar.
If I were needing one I'd pay that for it.

Re: Pics of Factory roll bars.

I payed $50.00 for mine but had to drive 10 hour round trip to get it. $150.00 is a good price if you dont have to very fare to get it.

Re: Pics of Factory roll bars.

Only paid $50 for mine. Then I had it powder coated for $100, not that it necessarily needed it but I wanted it nice and new looking. They don't come around too oftern, so you gotta take what's out there for sale unless you can wait for a better price. Good Luck.
