Thinking of selling/trading my truck, thoughts on price?

Hey guys,

I am debating on selling or trading my truck to fund another 67-72 project or maybe a 64 or 65 chevy truck. I am just having a hard time finding motivation on this truck and am losing interest fast. I am at the stage of either dropping/bagging it or move on to the next project.

What do you guys think I should ask for it or the value of a trade for another 67-72? Here is what I have done to it, some was from the PO but most all of it is my work. A few things it will need addressed or I will fix is there is a little rust just inside the doors on the floor (Usual spot) but the rest of the body and pan is solid. The bed has little dimples here and there that were not fixed when it was painted. And a few other little touch up things.

What has been done.

Rebuilt 350 with about 30K on it (Oil pressure is 25-30 at idle and 60 at WOT)

Rebuilt TH350 with about 30K on it

New GM Performance Products serpentine conversion with all new bolt on accessories

All new engine serpentine pulleys

New CS130 one wire alternator

New water pump

New PS pump

All new vacuum, fuel and cooling hoses

Long tube headers (May install a new set)

Dual exhaust with side turnouts in front of the rear axle, with Magnaflow 11236 mufflers

Edelbrock aluminum valve covers

Edelbrock 1406 carb

Edelbrock intake

Edelbrock air cleaner

Electric fuel pump

Electric cooling fan with relay controller

Accel HEI

New plug wires

New spark plugs

New carrier bearing

All new precision U joints

Newer front and rear brakes

New window felts, rubbers, door seals and track felts

New clear side marker lamp lenses

New clear tail lamp lenses

New clear turn/parking lamp lenses

New heater core and hoses (Not installed yet, will install next week)

New headlamp switch

New paint (Its not perfect but very presentable, but I may be putting a new paint job on it)

New black carpet

New dash pad

Re-upholstered bench seat

New Boss 338 20"x8" front wheels gray centers with polished lip

New Boss 338 20"x10" rear wheels

New 255/45R20 front tires

New 275/45R20 rear tires

2" rear block drop

There is more I am missing I am sure.

Thanks for the help guys.

And here is a photoshop of it dropped, this is what I wanted to do with it

If it's not a MUST sell you'd probably get a better price if you hold on to it for at least another 6 months. The economy is slowly making a come back but folks are still gun shy about spending. Waiting a little longer might net you a better price. At the moment, people that can buy are looking to buy cheap.

Yeah, its not a "Must" sale, actually I have no reason to sell it other than the fact that I am losing interest.

I think it's worth about $1000. You can keep the tires. I'll be down in the morning to pick it up.

Actually, I just dropped the front today and am dropping the rear on Friday and am actually getting my passion back for her. I think I am going to play with keep her for a while.
