Does anybody know how I can measure how much My truck has been lowered. I have 2.5 inch drop spindles and lowered it the rest of the way by loosening the torsion bars. If not does anybody know if tightening my torsion bars all the way will give me a stock height? not including the spindles of course.

I have the same setup on mine it will raise pretty high but not stock I just parked in my garage which is fairly level and used a tape measure from the ground to lip of the front fender above the tire I drew a red line so you could see where I measured

I'm in the same boat in that I'd like to figure out how much my truck is lowered. In my case I want to copy the stance after changing the suspension. I like to measure differently, from the fender lip to the center of the axle, this way it takes the tire size out of the equation. I have my measurements now I need to measure a stock truck, which I'm sure will vary from truck to truck.

Rich, my truck is 10 in the back and 14 in the front measured how you indicate. I believe our stances would be exactly equal if I didn't have the weight of my overhead rack and bed tool box.

My suspension is ECE 5 inch rear drop springs. Front is 2.5 spindles and 2 inch springs.

Thanks Kevin. It's good to here that you got the same front measurement using the 2" drop springs with your drop spindles. I was worried I'd have to go to a 3" drop spring to ge the stance and I've heard (maybe from you) that the ride is much better with the 2" spring.
