Met jorgensensc yesterday

Hey all,

I met jorgensensc (Shawn) yesterday when I bought his and his wifes Trailblazer SS. See here. Let me tell you, he is a great guy, has a great family and was great to deal with. He bent over backwards once we met to make sure the sale was good for both of us. After I got to his place (I flew in from Dallas to Houston on a free travel voucher SHAWN provided), I noticed a very nice C20 Burb and '68 short/step. We spent an hour talking about these trucks and he showed me his parts stash. I told him I should take a picture to show my wife so she knew I wasn't the only one who had more parts then one could ever use.

Thanks again Shawn for the great sale and it was good meeting you. Please call me if you are ever in the DFW area.

Chad

Congrats! Shawn is a great guy. He let my wife crawl all over that Trailblazer when we were trying to decide if we were going to buy one. If his had been for sale at the time it would be sitting in my driveway

Hey Carlos. Yeah they say you "should" run 93. I have seen where some guys are running half high and half mid grade, but I don't plan to. The LS2 has a mode of "KR" (knock retard) that cuts power and fuel mileage. I really don't expect to get good mileage, it's got a 4:11 rear gear!

Unless it was yesterday after 3:30, it wasn't me. The Malibu has been getting rest though. A change at work has allowed me to "work" from home ALOT more. Life is good.

Sorry man. Kinda glad you didn't get it, lol. I think I did make a mistake today though. I let the wife drive it to work and she commented, " I really like it and I miss the power". She drives a 2005 Tahoe with 5.3 now (not TOO slow), but we used to have a '97 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP that was her daily driver. I had modded it a bit (a tune, exhaust, and SC pulley change). It was aprox 325hp. It was a four door and caught ALOT of people off guard.
